TAGHeuer Pendulum Concept.
This oscillator was designed by TAG Heuer with the aim of overcoming the intrinsic limitations of the hairspring by replacing it with a magnetic oscillator.
Consisting of 4 permanent magnets, for which the geometry required complicated numerical simulation by generic algorithms, it provides the torque of the linear return necessary for the alternating oscillations of the balance wheel.
Co-inventor of this system protected by several patents, H2i has played an important part in each stage of the project, from the initial idea up to the final production of the commercialised products. Specific instrumentation has also been developed for the controlling of the chronometry of high frequency systems.
