H2i, Petitpierre and Horlyne to take part in the Technical Watchmaker Show 2023
view moreIn 2020, the NIHS 90-10 (ISO 764) standard was revised to cover the resistance of watches to high-intensity magnetic fields: 16'000 A/m (200 Gauss) and more.
In order to meet the ongoing demand of all major Swiss brands for stronger magnetic fields resistance, H2i has developed a generator of adjustable intensities up to 160’000 A/m (2'000 Gauss).
With its integrated rotational stand, gaussmeter and acoustic measurement system, this magnetic module has been developed to meet the strictest requirements.
The 160’000 A/m (2’000 Gauss) magnetic field is generated by specifically designed electromagnets and confined to the path by large ferromagnetic cores. This results in a strong and homogeneous field in between the DLC coated poles, giving a comfortable Ø60 x L60mm air gap.
Thanks to the integrated gaussmeter and acoustic sensor linked to the software, get realtime, precise measurements and drive a direct loop-back of the generated field at any specific point of the air gap.
Realtime temperature sensors and several cooling fans ensure a perfectly stable temperature in the working area and prevent the coils from overheating.
All H2i products are designed, manufactured and assembled in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. We have always taken special care to provide both high performance and user-friendly interfaces. All our software is developed in-house with the latest native programming languages.
