Although still in force, the NIHS 90-10 standard which governs the magnetic field resistance of watches covers only weak field values, up to 60 Gauss. In order to meet the ongoing demand of Swiss brands for an exposure solution to stronger magnetic field intensities, H2i developed a new generator of adjustable and continuous fields, dedicated to the watch industry.

High-Intensity Magnetic Field Generator for Watchmaking Applications

The 2,000 Gauss magnetic Module utilizes specially-designed electromagnets that create a strong and uniform field. By confining the magnetic energy to a specific path with large ferromagnetic cores, we are able to ensure that the field remains stable and consistent. The result is a comfortable Ø60 x L60mm air gap that provides ample space for precise watchmaking operations between DLC coated poles.

Real-time Measurements and Unparalleled Precision.

This high-intensity magnetic field generator is specifically designed for the watchmaking industry, with integrated sensors that provide real-time, precise measurements. The gaussmeter enables direct loop-back of the generated field at any specific point in the air gap. Linked to our acoustic measurement software and sensors, it allows for unparalleled precision in watchmaking operations.

Temperature Sensors and Advanced Cooling System

Designed with safety in mind, real-time sensors and several cooling fans ensure a perfectly stable temperature in the working area and prevent the coils from overheating. With three levels of security, you can be confident that your operations are being done with maximum safety and efficiency.
